Weather policy

If bad weather is forecasted, Araujo Party Rentals will reach out 24 hours before scheduled drop-off to confirm whether the customer wants to proceed. Once equipment is delivered, set up, and secured, weather-related free rescheduling, rain checks, credits, or refunds are not available.

Card-on-file and payment notice

A valid card may be required on file with a temporary $1 authorization to verify the payment method and secure the reservation. The authorization is not a charge for the main rental balance and will typically disappear within a few business days depending on the customer’s bank.

The main rental balance is typically handled in person by cash or Zelle unless Araujo confirms another approved arrangement.

Damage waiver draft

Customers may optionally add a damage waiver to their rental order. The waiver is intended to help cover normal accidental minor damage during proper use. It does not cover negligence, intentional damage, theft, loss, misuse, pet damage, cuts, burns, face paint, silly string, weather-related damage, or improper use. Customers who decline the damage waiver remain responsible for damage, loss, or replacement costs associated with the rental equipment.

Park, setup, and special handling

Park permits may be required for park events. Araujo can provide permit information at no extra charge. Additional fees may apply based on event location, park requirements, setup surface, access, securing needs, overnight pickup, generator needs, or other special handling.

Grass is preferred. Setup may also be possible on driveways or concrete using tarps and sandbags for safety. Customers should confirm whether 18-inch stakes are allowed at the event location.

Rental agreement acknowledgement

Before a reservation is confirmed, customers should review and agree to Araujo Party Rentals’ rental agreement and liability waiver. Until the final online signature workflow is approved, the site should use a required acknowledgement checkbox in the quote or booking workflow.
